Many thanks to John (customer Service) I added metal straps around tank at his suggestion. Now we are about ready to start camping again. I bought my travel trailer used not knowing at the time that the black water tank had been removed and that the toilet was directly connected to the dump valve.
I just installed this tank. It seems to be of good quality for the price.Walls are only 1/8 thick.
I used 3/4 angle and five 1/4 SS bolts on each side to mount it. I put the angle face away from the tank and used 3 hurricane straps to reinforce the tank. I put one self tapping screw in the angle face to hold the straps. I used one carriage bolt in the middle of each side to hold the angle to the tank. Use a floor jack and a small piece of plywood to protect tank. So far so good. Shipped fast and at a great price. I will buy from ICON again.
